L’Orbe began its story in 2012, with some of the most experienced and visionary minds in the spirits world. A team of master chefs, master distillers, designers, scientists and product experts came together to innovate in luxury, sensory experiences.

AN UNPRECEDENTED PATENTED PAIRING TECHNIQUE
L’Orbe set out to find methods of infusing and combining sensations that previously only existed in molecular cuisine. We developed a technique to capture rare ingredients inside a sphere: the “orb”.
The ingredients are encapsulated in a glass vial using a unique pearl technology. The pearl protects the ingredient and enables all its flavours to infuse slowly into the spirit, without decay or detriment.

SOURCING THE FINEST
INGREDIENTS


A QUEST FOR PERFECTION
Our main goal was to source the finest ingredients. This quest for perfection led us first to Poland, where rye fields are cultivated under optimal conditions ; but also to France, in the Sologne region, where sturgeons thrive in remarkable waters.

A CUSTOMIZED SPIRIT
We chose a customised single estate vodka, made from Dankowski Diamond rye from Poland. Its creamy texture, smooth taste, nutty and sweet notes perfectly match the caviar’s essence.


A FRENCH CAVIAR
We chose the Impérial Baeri from LA MAISON NORDIQUE, known for its unrivalled quality. Its grain is firm, its taste is slightly iodized, and its salting is perfectly balanced. On the palate, the Sologne Caviar reveals all its intensity thanks to subtle notes of walnuts and lightly buttered hazelnuts.

SIGHT
Nice glossy robe with iridescent highlights and a syrupy sensation.
NOSE
Rich, buttery, with a touch of vanilla and iodine.
PALATE
Delicately silky texture, with a fresh, elegant wave of sweetness and a light creaminess. Then distinct, structured notes of caviar appear, creating a sweet-savoury balance, with some underlying dryness.
FINISH
Round and long. The vodka diffuses, leaving space for the complexities and richness of the caviar.
